Reviews for "Day X"

Just the right amount of challenge, an immense fun factor when you get the weapon is added, the boss by far much too easy, and the game was a little too short. Great job! How did you fair in the Game Jam?

rottenmage responds:

Thanks! We did great =D. The game was well received at our local site.

Oddly enough, when I first saw this game, I thought it would be some boring game, but I actually liked it up to the end, though the ending does confuse me... Well, it won't stop me from putting this into my favourites, because I loved it, and I can't even imagine making something like this in such a small amount of time. Kudos to you!

Badass game! I just wish there was more...

Well this is an art game if there ever was one. It takes the art game archetype of "Every Day the Same Dream" and makes it a demonic run 'n gun.

I loved it, even the fact that most of the people that are writing reviews Either A: Don't know how to make a game or what work goes into games. B: Don't realize that this was 48 hours of work, when most games take weeks to make. C: Don't see the deep meaning in this in regards to every day life. He blames himself for his wife's death, leaving him every night to have that self-hate. He "Battles his demons" to get through his day, and his biggest is being at work. The hardest struggle (The most difficult part) is the graveyard, when he passes by his wife's grave every time. The end is just how he goes to bed with all this hate pent up and fades again into his every day cycle.
