This is definitely the best flash game I've seen on Newgrounds. This initial wow factor doesn't go away after a while of playing either. Great job!

Reminds me of a game I played on the Sega Game Gear years ago. Pretty cool concept! Music really put in the mood for this, plus the controls were top notch! Outstanding work!

This is by far the best flashgame of this type i've ever seen, on NG or anywhere else.
If you will ever consider to create a sequel, here's some advice:
*Change the explosion sound, it's pretty low quality.
*Brighter colours, smoother pixels
*More weapons
*Actual levels, with bosses and stuff
