The rank 2 "Nothing too new or interesting" fits this perfectly.
As far as the game goes it's just plain boring. The same enemies keep coming at you for several levels before a new enemy is introduced but by that time I can mow them all down before they even fire their first shot at me.
The upgrade system was pretty much useless. If you just upgrade fire rate and bullet damage as much as you can, you don't need anything else. You mow down every single thing thrown at you except bosses. But for Bosses I just put my cursor over them and watched TV for a bit, occasionally move my cursor up and down to kill the enemies that come by as I wait for the stupidly huge HP bar to go down.
The game starts out nicely but then goes downhill (Understand as Freefall) from there. It just didn't keep me interested no matter what. I got to level 10 and by then I was bored out of my mind.
This game is completely beatable with a touchpad and I say it would even be easier than a mouse.

This was a pretty fun game! Simple to play in that you don't need to really do anything other than aim, but rewarding in the aspects of upgrade. Can't help feeling the main battle music was a bit overly repetitive though, almost too short a loop. Though it's great that audio from the AP is used. In all other aspects it's awesome. Nice work!
