Reviews for "Africa (Singalong)"

hahaha nice cover. happy song.
Congratulations on organizing and completing this project. This took work.

00:25 - nice voices!

sleeper with the dope quaker shackers. That is great.

3:00 - relaxing. i like the gentle touch.

3:20 - wooooo w/ those guitar scales and the piano response that was pretty.

Great master mix. Really impressive collaboration. And fun song.

Not bad :/

Ceevro responds:

Wow. Literally hundreds of man-hours of work. Aaaaaaaaand, "Not bad."

I'm kinda curious what it takes to get to, "All right."

The live mixing is absolutely fantastic, particularly on the guitar. Playing is crisp and clean. Singers could be a bit more in sync, but that's how it goes with singalongs, and it fits the genre. It's refreshing to hear a cover of sorts that is anything but lazy and overdone. I can hear a lot of soul, and I can also hear Step's influence.

Excellent work. I have no complaints, and as a producer myself, the mixing and mastering is quite an accomplishment with so many tracks to work with. Kudos to everyone involved!

Finally checking in and this is soooooooooo awesome!!!!
The vocals are out of this world and I'm glad all the harmony really soars through!
With that many parts, its awesome to hear it so fanned out =D
Awesome job all of yalls!

Ceevro responds:

Yeah, this might be one of the best things I've ever been a part of! Everyone really bought in, and gave it their all, and you can really tell in the results!

This was a really good homage to Toto. The vocals were great, though they seemed to drown out the instruments somewhat. They Solo was fantastic, and the parts without vocals let me see how well every instrument was played.

Tl;dr: This was really good.

Ceevro responds:

Well, it's really hard to work in nearly 30 vocal lines without drowning out the cowbell! I have to say that Step did an incredible job with the mixing. We all had a lot of fun with this!
