Art, FX, Music are all good.
Please change to W being jump, (keep SPACE as an option if you really need to), and add the option for UP L R as well.
Character could move faster as well.

Making the space bar the jump button is almost as bad a sin than if you had made it the up arrow key. Doubly so since A/D move you left and right, its just an uncomfortable control scheme.
The game itself is very slow and plodding. The lives are also unnecessary, giving me no incentive to finish once I depleted them.
Sorry, it is beyond awful. Too slow, poorly-set controllers, and too unoriginal.
Snowmen in hell? Wau, I want that snow ^_^.
Joking apart, I think the player is quite slow so meh. I get bored because I'd like to play a bit faster, anyway it's a good game and graphics are pretty cool.
Not using W or Up for jumping is inherently unintuitive and it makes the game more difficult to play than it otherwise would be.

I'm not a fan of up to jump personally, but I'll add it in for a future version, along with additional arrow controls.
