Interesting game with some bullshit stuff.
Catching up with a skeleton to kill him with back turned is impossible unless it's after a jump.
That's the only part that seems legitimately unfair, though.
The floor panels and gates and such all being the same color as either the scenery or the background makes sense in an ideological sort of way, but makes for frustrating and confusing gameplay. The design allowed for clear understanding, but not the actual visual environment.
Overall the game's interesting but it's also very short and not extremely engaging.
Ok. The concept is great. Using a simple button for moving is nice. The animations are great.
But some things are so bad.
1-You should put a checkpoint in each scene, instead one per three scenes. Some scenes are very easy and others are hard as shit, and I have to repeat the easy one (like the one on the boulder, a pain in the ass, and when I lost I had to go back two scenes back) The white bullet level, or whatever it is, IT'S SO ANNOYING THAT YOU HAVE TO GO BACK THAT I'LL NEED TO GO TO THE PSYCHOLOGIST.
2-WHY THE PLAYER HAS TO JUMP EVERY TIME A PLATFORM ENDS? Sometimes to drop down HE FUCKING JUMPS. And sometimes he bugs at the end of a platform and keeps jumping.
3-Battling a skeleton almost made me cry. And no game made me cry ever. It's not the fact that you have to be quicker than the skeleton, which is good. The fact is that YOU CAN'T HIT HIM WHEN HE HAS TURNED AROUND (I have managed to hit one in the back ONCE) . And sometimes I hit them but the game won't recognise the collition and they won't die.
2/10 for concept and art.
Really nice game, I personnaly really enjoyed it ! The gameplay is simple but really effective, the music is pretty sneaky for me, but the animations are graphics are really well done ! ButI you should try to make it a bit harder in my opinion !
If you have the patience to think about how you will do it, then this is a good game.
I don't have much patience to restart and rethink. I rather attack head on. Not my type of game.
