Good fun game but I give up with Gold X
It's all good and all, but how the hell do you get the love achievements?
Autastic. I feel like I really shouldn't have enjoyed the game, since it largely plays itself and offers zero skill-based gameplay and very little in the way of strategy, but apparently I enjoy the hollow victory of watching numbers getting largely over time.
There seems to be a problem with potions, though - possibly with other percentage modifiers, too. With ~17k per click unmodified, any potion that gave less than 100% bonus would make no difference. Any potion between 100% and 199% would result in ~34k, so no matter where it fell in that range, the clicks would yield double. Any potion between 200% and 299% would give ~51k, so triple regardless of the exact bonus. There seems to be some kind of floor function messing with the math. It's very easy to observe the error with the potions, since it's easier to see the difference in one click, but I suspect it may be wider spread than that.
So I just offset the lost gold by using an auto-clicker to farm. I figure all's fair.
Just got Gold X, mostly through farming.
