I think this game would be better with achievements.

My opinion on the gameplay: meh.

Likely to give you RSI if you stay with it for any length of time. The good (?) news is that you won't, unless you REALLY don't like spiders.

the flashlight do not do anything. so I ignore the batteries pick up. it wuld be nice if it slowed the spiders

I am disappointed that this is not a game about being a spider, but rather just killing them. Had me interested there for a second.

But still, nice game

Simple enough to understand. It's intuitive gameplay but the problem is that the gameplay is too limited and too dependent on the item drops that don't make sense. Up until Wave 11 I was in absolutely no danger of dying because there were far more Extra Life drops than health drops. Although health drops only refill a small fraction of your health, so they're not really worth prioritizing if there is a drop. The flashlight batteries and flares were worthless because even with medium screen brightness, there was no problem actually seeing the spiders. The light mechanic became entirely unnecessary as part of gameplay, in which case I was annoyed more than glad when I had a screen full of batteries and flares. Grenades and gas were more useful, but that means that of 6 power-ups only three were worth grabbing. That's very odd in a game blurbed by the other as having "useful item drops."

The sounds were good, although the single scream was annoying after a while. Music was forgettable, but not obtrusive.
