I don't want to say you capture the essence of the comic strip. But you do.
I don't want to say this is perfect. But I am.
This is about a kid in the forest, being a kid.
This is about a kid messing around with stuff he's too young to grasp and yet does.
This is Calvin and Hobbes.
There is no need to apologize for anything.
Apart from being an impressively animated short, this is a beautiful tribute to the comic in all its simplicity.
