A little good game to spend some time, it is fun, the random bonus may decide of the difficulty: timer timer timer I need timer and some shield too :).
I see only one improvement could be made : display the slow time left.

The distribution of power ups is so random it gave me 12(!) slows and 0(!) bombs, when I had upgraded bombs twice and slow once...
That takes away a lot of the fun.

I'm sorry you didn't like the randomness, the situation you described isn't accidentel though.
Assuming you invested an equal amount in every upgrade, you have an equal chance for them popping up. That is, with the exception of the fire pumpkin. I lowered it's chance a lot since it's pretty overpowered otherwise. I think it's a lot more balanced this way (for the endgame with all the upgrades, it definatly is) but I can understand your frustration in an early game stadium.
Intuitive instructions, clean graphics and decent game play.

Simple but addictive shooter.
The collectable power-ups work well, trying to save 'slows' onscreen rather than shooting on sight when the going gets fast is interesting.
