A very fun and amusing game with good audio that I loved to play, it gets really hard though.

Decent graphics, and has a lot of potential to be fun, but the gameplay is lacking. Easy mode isn't 'easy' at all - after a certain point, you can't even get into position to shoot anything because there are so many hazards in the way. You could argue that it is my lack of skills, but I'm not going to practice day and night just to try out a new game on easy mode. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that you can't shoot up or down, even diagonally, only left and right, unless I missed something. There are no directions for the controls, so I am left having to guess at using the arrow keys to shoot, and WASD to move. Lunatic mode didn't really seem that much more difficult; it is as if the easy modes should be easier, and the hard modes should be harder. The available weapons aren't very intuitive to use, and seem disproportionately weak. The power ups for your weapons should be more distinguishable, and you should have a list/legend describing what each power up does.

Yknow, its funny, I have a help menu that has the controls and a legend of what the powerups and weapons do in the first game, and forgot to put it in this one "^.^
Also I find it hilarious and impressive at the same time that you decided to play easy and lunatic mode, I'm actually really happy that you were that dedicated to review my game to do that :D
As for not being able to shoot up or down, you'll see that in most shmups, hell its still a rarity to be able to shoot left XD
I'll look into making the difficulties more drastic, and would you mind reviewing the full version when I'm done with it? I like how in depth you got with it
It would be perfect if it werent for the stupid anime heads -.- took me out of the flow completely.
