For those who are REALLY having trouble with getting the nonbinary option, just get over 15000 points in the story mode.

Definitely interesting. The gameplay is solid, and the concept is a much needed change from what one usually sees on this site. I was curious about what would happen if you took to long to pick 'boy' or 'girl', but I didn't see anything. Also, the 'game over' screen hurt my heart. I hope you keep creating!
I signed up for an account just to leave a review. This game is really well-done. The faux-retro aesthetic is cleverly implemented, and it's fun and cute to play.
The only problem I really have is that the words you have to dodge and collect are universally referred to as "pronouns". Pronouns are words like he/she/they, words that replace nouns in speech. Woman, man, homo, lesbian, tomboy, etc. are all nouns.
Hi! I thought this game was pretty effective! There's a bunch of super nit-picky stuff I could say about it as a game qua game but like, that's so not the point. It successfully communicated the feeling of being misgendered to a degree, and I really appreciate that. Well done! (I think this is the first time I've commented on one of your games so I would just like to quickly say that Personal Trip to the Moon is spectacular. Like, a great.)
I feel like maybe it would have been nice to put a warning for some of the language? Like, I get that the point of the game is to convey a message about a negative thing but, as a trans woman, knowing the game included the t-slur would have saved me a nasty shock. Also perhaps a way of removing the more hurtful stuff so you can just play a misgender simulator? I dunno.
(also, the music is pretty great, yeah.)

I loved the game. As someone who struggles with social dysphoria, it's nice to sit down and blast all of the incorrect pronouns I've had thrown at me all day.
In the line of constructive criticism, I think it would fantastic if there was a way to collect points for fixing the incorrect pronouns (ie being able to collect the "he" that comes from shooting off the s). It would also be dynamite if there was a way to fight back against the pronoun downpour. I'm not sure how you programmed it so I'm not sure how easy those changes would be to make. I also can't seem to figure out how to navigate back to the main menu after the story mode high score page. It would also be great if non-binary was an option rather than an award but then again, there are very few things where non-binary is an option.
