The friendly AI is absolutely atrocious. I'm expected to save people that willingly walk into mines, let aliens shoot them, stand near barrels I'm trying to detonate, stroll under a car I'm about to shoot down? It's like they want to die. It is silly to expect me to keep NPCs alive if they aim for death. Aside from that, the controls tended to get stuck at times... for example, I would be walking left, when all of a sudden my character would start jerking as if I was pressing the left key extremely quickly. Simply releasing the button and pressing it again fixed the problem, but it shouldn't happen in the first place.
Not a bad game, but the NPC AI made it much more frustrating that it should have been. 3/5

Yeah the friendly A.I is a bit special :D ...I'm pretty proud of the survivors, because it's the first time I've ever made companions like that in a game, but I know they can be a lot smarter and I'll do my best to improve on them for the sequel. The controls getting stuck do not really have anything to do with the game. It happens because Flash player is struggling to keep up. Flash games are surprisingly hard on your computer, especially nowadays that game developers like me are pushing its limits. Try not to have too many tabs open or other programs running on your computer at the same time. Sorry this happened to you :/
