Reviews for "Deeper Sleep"

Notes found 14/15 -.-
Very good and scary game, it has a very nice atmosphere and the puzzles are well done and logical.
See forward too part 3

Very clever game, and ended on a cliffhanger to boot! Looking forward to the final installment.

Well, I enjoyed myself. Thanks for another good experience, Scriptwielder, but all the dialog was still terrible, like last time (probably more so this time because there was so much more of it). I *STRONGLY* encourage you to carefully consider the implication of every word you use in the story. Poor word choice makes an interesting narrative sound flimsy and half-baked. For example, in the note you piece together are the words, "I first encountered this phenomenon in the early 80's, but it would seem They have existed since the dawn of the human race. Commonly known as [...]"

...why would it "seem"?
who is this guy?
if these things are so "commonly known", why is the protagonist thumbing over every book in the library? Shouldn't these creatures be more esoteric? You just turned your creatures from intriguing into interchangeable by opting to give them a generic, descriptive name. Giving them a unique name will root them in the plot and not generic horror mythology.

I thought it unwise to use the word "realm" because this note sounds like it was supposed to be [somewhat] scholarly but that word is extremely archaic and just plain nerdy to use in reference to ANYTHING.

Please have a lighter touch on the script and the vignette. You're making good games, but they could be great with a little more practical consideration.

I love this game! It's very unique and continues to entertain me. I was a bit sad that the whole game, there was only one creepy monster you can die from; the ghost was amazing creepy (crappy graphics made it more creepier), why not more? I would of loved to see the clown lurking around since he was off the poster. the reason why I didn't give full stars, is because I feel jipped from the lack of monsters and story (i'm sure you guys are going to go more into dept in the second one, right?). Can't wait to play the next one! :) Good job!

A decent horror adventure game. Although I don't understand the meaning of some objects that you retrieve from part 1, since there is no usage for them.
