There are a lot of games like this, so if you're going to make a new one it has to really shine. Unfortunately, this was mostly a facsimile of what we've seen before. The settings were nice, and I really loved that you included descriptions of what upgrades actually affect as many overlook this, but the gameplay didn't really left a lot to the imagination.
This game has huge pacing problems that are greatly exacerbated by its short length. After grinding through the first level to build up your vehicle the difficulty takes a huge downshift; the second and third level become incredibly easy.
Greater variations in terrain and more hazardous paths would be great. I should have to really pay attention to my vehicle's pitch and speed, not just keep a finger on the gas the whole time and adjust for a couple major drops. It was a good go though. Maybe implement Newgrounds medals along the in-game ones.
I spent way more time in the first mission than the others. If it were a bit shorter and I could work on updates across all vehicles instead of maxing most of them on the first car I would give it three stars.
Great and fun game but to short and to easy and..Did I just beat the game without even buying rockets and jets?Hmm Interesting.$ 4 of five stars$
