This has been perhaps one of the most emotional things I've heard from you. Automatically I expect to hear the drawl of a mournful tenner (perhaps African) singing along about some mournful tragety. Everything fits, and it reaches out and pulls at your chords.
And that's how the bridge suddenly fell to pieces. The nintendo sounds are just... wrong here. This isn't like some design flaw that was thought out, like all of the well thought out screw ups that anyone can come to admire in some of your over the edge work.
This work wasn't over the edge.
...with that in mind, the samples from Mario and Sonic The Hedgehog were just wrong. They were crushingly wrong. I go strong sadly. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

You know, I agree with you. It was wrong to put Nintendo/video game sounds in there. It's simply a case of 'I've been working on this track for 3 hours and I'm bored of it, lets stick some random samples here and there'. So dont get too upset Zedar, its only Newgrounds after all :)
Having said that, I'll try to keep Nintendo sounds out of legitimate works. My attempts at legitimate work anyway! I'm surprised you're so passionate about it though. It makes me regret putting them in.

This song is what I truly think should be one of your very best. 'Tis one of my dear favorites in your collection. I love the use of classic VG sounds to lighten the atmosphere. Great music! I wish mine was this good! xD

after for years I decided to look it up again, still love it!
Very retro and nostalgic sounding. Really like how chaotic it sounds on the surface, but actually if you listen, every sound is placed very intricately. Lots of ear candy. :D
