the game is awesome i love the slick style and mostly smooth gameplay i have spent a lot of time on this game even beating the hardcore mode

I still love this game and the nostalgia however the lag is sometimes a pain even with disabling hardware acceleration, but still I love it.
I keep asking why some people believe that the first game is better than this one. This is a huge improvement compared to the first game in terms of gameplay mechanics. I liked the new features of the game such as the way the player could use the mouse to aim the gun instead of just pressing F, the variety of weapons(instead of just a magnum), and new challenge modes.
That said, it had its shortcomings. The story was kinda disappointing.
The game features 2 selfish soldiers whose goal is to just exit the city, and that's it. I'm curious as to why General Sherman even bothered to rescue them.
It would have been better if the player had other goals rather than just escaping.
Frankly the game was still enjoyable thanks to its gameplay, newer enemies, and challenge modes. I cannot wait for Road of the Dead 3 to be released.
I completed hardcore mode today.
