Reviews for "Kirby Kirby Kirby"

Very well!!

Let me just say that that was one of my favorite movies Eva' there isnt really many movies like this out there and I really like how you used things from kirby games and things like that, into making one big movie, keep up the goodwork and (p.s.: toon rpg, was cool!!)

T0MMY responds:

Thanks for taking the time to review KirbyKirbyKirby, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it (check out the sequel).
Happy to hear you thought TOON was cool too.
Have fun.

A great animation!

After playing the Toon RPG you recently made, I had to check out your other works - and I am now a huge fan of them. This movie, although made almost a year ago, was fun to watch.

Graphics: The Kirby drawings were nicely done - and the animations were smooth. Those were possibly the most detailed Kirby drawings I have ever seen - and that includes the games. 9/10

Sound: Classic Kirby music. Although there weren't as many sound effects as I would have liked. Kirby is, however, a difficult character for sound effects - plus he is not one for voice acting. Overall, a good job with the sound. 8/10.

Interactivity: The chance to select a scene at the end was nice. Although for some reason, I clicked the Did you Know button on the preloader and it prematurely started the movie. And this only happened once. Odd. Still, a movie has limited interactivity. 2/10.

Style: Very stylish, I must say. The fighting animations were smooth, and I liked the chance to select who won - along with the rather unexpected endings. Plus, the music went well with the scenes. Nicely done, overall. 9/10.

Violence: Mostly animated - nothing too bad. 2/10.

Humor: I hate to say it, but I laughed hardest during the movie when I saw Link at the end - his face looked like the Kirbies when he talked and it cracked me up. It had its moments of humor. 6/10.

Overall: Although it is an 8, it is a high 8 - almost a 9, but not quite. I'll likely be giving this a 5 vote despite 8/2 equalling 4. A nice overall work. 8+/10.

Miscellaneous: I read in the Did you Know section that Kirby's original color was in debate - well, in a lesser known SNES game called Kirby's Dream Course (My all-time favorite Kirby game for some reason) ... the 2-player mode has Player 1 play as pink Kirby and Player 2 play as Yellow Kirby. So there IS a Yellow Kirby. You likely knew that, but still...

Final Verdict: A nicely-done movie. I enjoyed watching it - and unless you don't like the Kirby series, you'll probably enjoy it too. I say it is well-worth your time. Good work - you are now on my favorite authors list.

Another well written review from Insane_Steve ^_^
The preloader may skip right into playing the movie if the "Did you know..." section hasn't loaded a few frames first.
Yeah, Kirby's color came down to either yellow or pink. Some how pink came up as the color (I always liked white the best, which is what color he is on the original Gameboy game).
Kirby's Dream Course was really fun. Kirby's Avalanche was also a good not-really-a-Kirby-game.
I'm glad you enjoyed the movie.
I'll keep you up to date with the work I submit to Newgrounds since I'm on your Favorite Artists list.
Again, thanks for the in-depth-review.

This is the GREATEST work I have ever seen.

Of all the videos I have seen here, i have to say that this one by far is the greatest work ever! Not too much violence. That is a good thing. I am a huge fan of kirby, and smash bros., and this is the best work I have seen, that involved both kirby and smash bros. Tommy, keep up the good work. I'm with you 100%!! I love your work! Make one about pokemon. I love pokemon. But please, dony be like everyone else and make a bad one please. Thank you!

T0MMY responds:

You're very much welcome - it makes me very happy to know someone loved this short movie as much as you do.
If you enjoyed this so much, put me in your favorite artist section or e-mail me and I'll try to keep you updated with the work I bring out. Also, you would probably enjoy the "sequel" K3:Dynablade.

Well, I wasn't planning on ever making a Pokemon movie, but your overwhelming amount of praise makes me reconsider. I'm terribly busy as of late, but I could make a special short just for you (maybe not even submit it to Newgrounds).
And don't worry, if I made a Pokemon movie it wouldn't be a bad one - I don't make bad movies of any kind.

Thank you again for your nice review.

T0MMY responds:

You've heard a lot about me? Wow... does that mean I'm popular?
Hey! My profile has me at #9 for popularity... that's strange.
Anyway, you may have not liked this, but a lot of people have - to each their own.
Have fun.
