ok ill offer some constructive critcism. personally i think that the conrtolls are somewhat lacking. part of the platformer is the controll over jumping. once the space button is pressed you have no control. it makes jumping a nightmare. especially when you jump up and cant do anything till you land again. the hit mechanism is also rather annying as the hit boxes are awkward. i got hit through the floor. the other reason is that it knocks you backwards so with the jump mechanism before you can get stuck trying to jump up hit a blade and get knocked right back. or even off the map.

Well the lack of control part is how it worked in the old Casltevania games up until atleast the SNES games which the game engine mimicks, the being hit trough the floor thing I can actually agree with is too cheap, even though it can pretty easily be avoided.
The thing about control is that you are supposed to give the player good enough contols to beat the game, for example if I had given the player identical controls as in say Megaman X (the ability to move faster, turn in the air, higher jumping, wall climbing and air boosting) you could have easily beaten the level in under 20 seconds. Unless I of course designed the level around it.
The knockback being able to knock you off the map is intended, and I actually designed the level with it in mind, which will be totally evident on the latter part of the level.

It's not the game that pisses me off, it's the attitude of the uploader that does. He's over there calling someone a bitch because he can't take criticism. And for you to actually say you've beaten it makes you look like a fucking tool. No one fucking cares what you done. You made it, so your completion status doesn't fucking matter.
But yeah, it took me a few hundred deaths to realize it was a rage game. Nice character sprite by the way. Certainly would love to see something like that used in a real flash game by you.

You guys know it's meant to piss people off right? It's called "I wanna be the douche", an obvious reference to the hardest game ever, "I Wanna Be The Guy". The background is a picture of the beach, and it looks like it was made as a project in the 90s. It's just a rage game, so why is everyone bashing so hard on it?
