Reviews for "Musical brick breaker "

At first I liked the music and the game, but after only 2 levels, I started raging. I think you really need to add some lives, starting all over again after only one mistake is annoying as...You should add a pause button, a mute button, after some time starting again I just felt like throwing the pc away...I liked the medals though, they were funny.

Thank you Its hard what to do with this game because some people are asking for it to be harder and others like you are asking for it to be more easy i'm confused.

could do with more music other than the granny sleepy one... game tunes should be exiteing!

SKINMAN123 responds:

Not for a calm game like this.

I'm sorry, this is really really poor.

Yes, it's kinda playable, but there are so many things wrong with it. Graphics are terrible and gaudy. What's with the flashing colours on the reset button and paddle and bricks? The colour choices are bad, and the whole thing looks rendered in low resolution, which is strange considering the total file size. Dressing up the levels in some kind of tropical theme is a nice idea, but not well implemented.

There is nothing 'musical' about this game, despite the title. There's a background music track (too soft), and some sfx when you hit a brick, that's it. It's a standard, yet poorly executed brick breaker game.

Gameplay: ah, I can overlook the cosmetic issues, but this really breaks the game. First, the ball can get stuck between the paddle and the bottom layer of tiles. What's the idea with that bottom layer anyway? Besides, the ball always bounces off at a fixed angle off the paddle, which means that so long as you always catch the ball with the paddle, the ball will follow the EXACT same trajectory each level. That's lame. Unless, of course, you want to hazard the risk of the ball bugging out by letting it bounce off the bottom tile layer, which is also quite lame. The standard way around this is to let the position at which the ball hits the paddle influence its exit angle in some way.

The way I look at it, your priorities for your next update are completely off. More bricks and paddles are just bling. They're meaningless unless you fix the fundamental issues first.

SKINMAN123 responds:

Well I'm sorry you feel that way, If you have read the description you will know why. I know that there is a lot of bugs in it but this is a beta version. When the alpha version comes you should not experienced these bugs. But a lot of people seemed to enjoy the older non updated one. I would put more music in but then I would have to deal with copy right issues, but I will see what I can do =). I'm also trying my best to fix bugs, some bugs take longer then others to fix. I already fixed 34 bugs since the other version, I also only fixed and added what people from the other version of my game wanted fixed and added. The next update I will try to fix that bug and I don't see whats so bad about the graphics your the first to complain. I thank you for your concerns but this is only a beta when the alpha comes out it will be a lot better.
