Healing costs are ridiculously high. There's no scaling to account for a learning curve or players new to the genre. Attempting to heal apparently also causes a save.

I'll keep that in mind, right now I think it's just your current damage x 2 is the cost. Didn't really put much thought into it. Just so you know whenever you pick up a big heart you restore full health. something to keep in mind. Thanks for the feedback!
It was really enjoyable, brought me back to my days of playing super mario on the gameboy. Really nostalgic, quite a cute wee game. Quite addictive too.

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D I also grew up playing those kinds of games, as well as more recently Cave Story and various other metroidvania's. If you can't tell Cave Story was a huge inspiration.
