To be serious, graphics are bad, it isn't the kind of game that belongs on newground, YES you will get shit reviews for it. I honestly didn't mind most of it, the first part was the only problem I had.
On the other side, you made this for your father, so I can see why it was a quick game.
However keep in note that there are those people on newgrounds who will outright just say it's bad, nothing much you can do but improve.

Pretty neat idea, just needs a little bit work on the art style.
Needs a way to restart. Artwork could also use some improvement. The actual code seems solid.
