I have bit of advice for every Flash author who sticks part of the story all by itslef in the Author's Comments: don't. Instead, try to include as much of your story in your Flash script as possible. Newgrounds has 5 Top Daily sumbissions each and every day, 365 days a year. That's over 1,800 submissions, each with it's own "Author's Comments". Most people do not read the Author's Comments before they watch a movie; therefore, if you put a major element of your story in the "Comments" section (killed his father), you may as well have left that out. The difference is with Games: if someone loads a game about fighting chickens, they want to know what buttons they push to kill chickens. But stories aren't like that. You can't stick a major element of the story OUTSIDE the story and expect it to read like a cohesive whole.
