The controls have some compatibility issues, you can't enter your inventory with hotkeys right after picking up an item, you must move first. The same for using any hotkey. I'm using chrome if you can't replicate that issue.
The combat was a bit clunky, with how aiming worked. But this is a good attempt. I give it a four, because a 3.5 isn't possible :P
I found this to be a pretty good game. I think I can recall the previous one. Of course, I have played so many it's difficult to keep track of them all. I thought the graphics were quite good. I like it how it appears as though you can restore your health while you are fighting an opponent. At least that was how it was with the boss.
I do think this isn't that creative. The music is good, but it doesn't seem to add anything that new. It is kind of satisfying to look at the enemy designs. I also like how you have a map that shows everything. It's not much, but it's good for what it is.
I imagine this could be a fun game, but every time i change levels, it resets my character. I'm on the third level with 0 exp and that starting sword. Do you know how difficult that is?
Anyways, what bit i played was fun, so I'll still give you 3.5. Just work on a fix for this and I'm sure I could come back to it!
What I think you have here is amazing potential.. The game itself in terms of the battle interface and such is pretty good, but it's a little laggy at times and there are a few bugs: In some parts of the maps the room completely disappears including the monsters and stuff, and while I was battling the skeleton lord or whatever i tried to teleport away and I guess I died or something but the screen just went black and there's nothing I can do about it.
I would really love to see you improve this game even more, it could be absolutely fantastic, but for now it's just a moderately good game. I appreciate that it's a lot of work and it will take some time, but you should definitely take the effort to improve this game much more! 3.5/5
