I've gotta say, usually when someone puts up their first game, the author comments consist of a lot of "Don't rate me low! This is my first try!" type of excuses. You kept it simple, put it out there, and took your chances, and I respect that.
I wouldn't rate this as a game, but as a demonstration. You've shown that you can set up scenes, interactions, and conditional logic. Time to work on the next step, artistic skill. Take some time, learn how to make some actual graphics so that the game looks like something real. And now that you've demonstrated the basics of escape game interactions, take the time to put together something more intricate, more involved. It's basically just more of what you've already done, but you'll need to put your head into it, plan it out, and make it interesting. I hope you continue to progress, and I look forward to seeing where it takes you.
Guys, stop being assholes. Of course it's not too good, but really. It's his first game. That's doesn't mean you have to say: 'This game sucks' or 'This game should burn in hell'. Everyone, and I mean absolutely everyone starts off at this stage. Sure, you're usually better of trying to get yourself improved before posting a game or a video, but yeah. I can see that this man is at his first stage, where it is really hard for him, yet he decides to bust out his time and waste time he could spend improving to try to entertain you guys. That's what Tom did. That's what Newgrounds did. That's what the world did. So you guys are just gonna sit there and act like jerks and say this is very bad and be removed? I say no. And that's how it will stay; no.
Wow I was completely disappointed. Badly drawn, no challenge, no effort.
I was incredibly disappointed by this game. I expected something that someone had at least put some thought or effort into, but I was proven wrong. All this is to the community is a badly drawn submission that is no challenge to accomplish. This game doesn't deserve to be on Newgrounds.
