No this is pretty dumb. You just have to walk one side all the time and stop from time to time.
Your Stamina goes away far too quickly for any movement to be effective. The fact that you have 1000 units of Health and Slender drains them very slowly makes it painfully simple and not scary.
I like the art-style, and the effects of your sanity (health) going down. But the gameplay's awful, and that's what matters.

Flash games that "won't start" are because Flash Player no longer exists, and an alternative ihas to be used in the meantime. If you're trying to play using the Ruffle Flash Emulator, realize that Ruffle is a work in progress and wont work with some games.
Have you tried the Newgrounds Player? It's an offshoot of the official Flash Player so you can play games like this - though in my experience it also fails to work in some cases.
