It's like a guide on how not to make comedy. Think for a moment how many times you've seen this: The main character is intelligent, witty, but not very motivated. The other characters are inept, foolish, and only serve to set up the main character for witty comebacks. Next, throw in random nonsense and slightly edgy humor. There you have it. Carbon-copy comedy. It's not like the animation was bad or anything either, it's just that when it comes to writing there's just nothing here.

Whoa. I think your review is rash and not really necessary in this context. I'm not making a movie here man. I'm trying to make people laugh with a minute-long clip.
Also, I disagree with your point. While jokes aren't funny more than once, formulas are repeated all the time for a reason. They work. That's why it's called a formula. Think how many times Will Ferrell has played the inept character that sets up the main, more serious character. What you just described is 90% of Hollywood comedies. It may be a "carbon-copy" formula, yes. But that's not what would make it bad writing. The jokes would make it bad. Next time, just say "your jokes are bad."
