Reviews for "FreedomTower-TheInvasion"

It has been a VERY long time since I have played an excellent defense style shooter such as this one. So many of the defense shooters that I've played revolve around the Earth or the people of the Earth defending something against strange, hostile alien attackers. In this one YOU play the aliens, trying to stop the earthlings from invading your planet and stealing your energy source.

The game is very well put together, the upgrades are nice, and, unlike a lot of these games, the prices do not go from very low to exorbitantly high after you buy one upgrade; I was able to upgrade something at least once after every round. The rotation of enemies is nice as well, although you could put a little more variation into them.

All in all, this is an superb game. I know that a few reviewers said that you should make a sequel, and I think you should. You could add more upgrades, more power ups, more enemies, the list is endless as to what you can do. I think if you stick with what you have premise of it I you would have an excellent game to build an remarkable sequel off of.

Even though this was short, this was FANTASTIC! There was something SUPER satisfying about shooting the rocket or super gun, and there was all these nice touches like the ships looking electrified (which from what I can tell is purely a visual effect) - great work.

Also, I don't know if this was intentional, but it seems like the mid-game 'interludes' always seem to come when I have this awesome multiple gun upgrade-powerup thing going on - I figure it is the AI's way to let my timers run out before deciding to attack again ;)

Some tips: Someone complained that you can shoot at where the enemies spawn at and not collect the energy things. Turns out that your mouse tracks off the screen with you if you are clicking. Also, the ground off screen seems to continue to slope. Since certain powerups (air defense/rocket launcher) will happily kill enemies off screen, just remember to periodically do brief off-screen swipes with the mouse to collect all those lost orb things ;)

MAN! What a satisfying game! Pew Pew Pew! :)

We defended against humans instead of aliens, nice break from the usual. I like it
