Very nice little minimalist game, at first I was going to talk about how it would have been better with some form of upgrade progression, then I thought better, for a minimalist game it works well however I would have had slightly more fun if the towers didn't last as long but you could place them much faster.

The gameplay is strategic! I want this to have a sequel, with more enemies, upgrantes and power-ups!
Good, i like a game that really tries to do something different.
As a starting point, this isn't a bad piece. Unfortunately, for something this simple, someone is going to find a dominant strategy.
For example, if you place two turrets, one in the top right and the other in the lower left, and then just replace the towers as they expire, the bullet travels so fast that it becomes near-statistically impossible for anything to cross that line without getting hit. The only way to lose a life is if a green hugs the top, which never seems to happen.
So, maybe more enemy variety, or a tower eater, would be a good idea to spruce up the difficulty. Nice concept.
