this is an awesome peice of art. Im astounded that it is a pencil sketch, but i do believe it. Lastly i apologize for the multitude of idiots who have the gaul to compare this to a game which is based off of the troops that you (hopefully) modeled this after. i applaud your skill and the patriotism that is represnted by this beautiful art. my father is in the military, maybe not the marines or the army rather Navy. Either way this image brought a small tear in my eye since it had somewhat of an unseen emotion that could only be expressed through a white outside relief from the center focus of the soldier. very well done.

The lack of drawing or color and how it fades into the white is truly bringing out the fabric of this image.
The fading shows the uncaring environment in which a soldier works, aside from his/her fellow BiA. The white area around him would be the heat of battle, shaded only by the buildings he/she is next to.
