These games are always such a waste of time. You bothered to set up a rather cool game, but it amounts to an easter egg hunt. You have excellent pics of some gorgeous architecture and creepy halls and rooms, but it quickly just devolves into looking for things that don't necessarily add up. I've played easily a dozen versions of this game, with just different images. It doesn't change up game play that much to play with each version. What's more, with the one window disc, when you put one piece of the circle on it, it disappears, and you never get it back. Do you have to have all of them when you put them on? The idea of keys to other rooms being hidden is bizarre. There's nothing really scary about the places either, because they're just empty rooms. Also, the mute buttons don't really mute anything, they just mute the music, not the sound effects of the piano, for example.
I'm so tired of seeing so many versions of the same basic game like this, and none of them are especially that clear in what you are supposed to do, or how you win. If you need a walkthrough in order to actually complete the game, then how is that even a challenge. It's full of things that are either obvious or make no sense. You're just hunting around the game, using your flashlight on a room to try and find things, and what those things do is so rarely evident as to how or why they would do anything. In one room, I actually clicked on something, and nothing happened at all. It didn't go in the inventory, nothing was made evident or anything. At this point, this almost exact game has been done a hundred times over. Isn't it about time that you actually made the game good, or for that matter: fun?
