Okay, I have to admit this had a good atmosphere and did actually provide some good horror even if it was simply pop-up style and in a 2nd person game. It was also clever to integrate sound into the gameplay forcing the people who would mute a horror game to play it couldn't. That's great. To anyone who has not downloaded the program webplayer, though, this game alone is not worth downloading it for. No bitterness, moving on. The eerie piano music was alright but it's depressing when one of the biggest things making your game scary isn't your atmosphere, good or bad, but that weird "DUN" noise whenever you die, and believe me you will die. At least thrice I decided to go one way and heard a bear, decided to go another way and heard snakes, and tried to go a third way and that was blocked off by trees. and at least two more times I tried to listen for a bear but couldn't hear it or thought it was somewhere else. Last aspect, the story. Oh wow, did you ever hype this up in the description. Really the plot is pretty standard until the end [3 minutes later ( short length but I won't fault you on that)] I won't spoil it for the viewer but sufficed to say this did help explain what the monster was and delve into the "Inner" horror style, and the wikipedia page at the end was more clever than I originally gave you credit for[beginning this review I thought it was rather preachy], as it explains a bit about the character the more that's read into it and thought about.
so, to recap.
Clever gameplay,
good story,
and horror that relies too heavily on jump scares and a DUN sound equals

i have not played the game yet , but wanted to note that unity web player is a reliable platform much like flash , not a virus or anything of the like incase that is the idea that people gain from the review below mine from silverstunned . many games are written for and played in it now , one example deadfrontier was in flash , now in unity 3d .
