Reviews for "Run Run Ran"

I didn't have the money bug, but if I did I would have given you much fewer than 3.5 stars. I did have a bug where I paused during a run and clicked into a new tab. When I returned, it showed the whole 'click here to resume' thing on top of the pause menu because I had clicked away. I clicked to resume, and my character started running again even though the pause menu was still over the screen!

I kind of like the stuff it does to my eyes - the verticalness doesn't bother me.

Someone commented that there's no warning when the lycan upgrade wears out. I don't know if you only just very recently added the wolf howl pause to indicate the change back, but I have it in my game and it works really well.

I enjoy the multitasking and while I feel like I'm getting much better, I still haven't seen a boss which is a little disheartening!

It's a fun game... for about 10 minutes. After that, you're just sick to death of playing the same level over and over and over again. I haven't experienced the bugs other players have complained about, so I can't comment on that. Obviously it's not a new concept (Temple Run, etc.), but you did add new things like the shooting that mix it up a bit. There really, REALLY needs to be checkpoints in a game like this. I've gotten to where assassins are running at me (several minutes of continuous gameplay by this point) and when you die, it's back to the very beginning again. It's extremely frustrating to play a game for over 30 minutes and not make any real progress other than upgrading things that honestly don't help you get any farther at all.

By the way, your description isn't accurate. Lycans can't destroy all items. I figured that a werewolf could take a horse, but apparently not. Additionally, they can't destroy the bazaar stands either.

Adding checkpoints every so often would make this 100% more playable and 100% less frustrating.

This has a nice basis for a game, but needs some serious improvement in a few ways:
- Upgrade games have to give you upgrades that mean you improve, that you last longer and get further. Other than the wolf upgrades and the potion, the upgrades really only help you get more coins. This means that I am getting coins mainly in order to get more coins, which makes getting coins at all quite pointless.
- While I don't think all games should have tutorials, and I like sometimes being thrown in the deep end, this game needs a few more pointers. For example, it would be nice to know (without having to risk dying so as to look at the counter) that the red coin is worth 5 normal coins. It would be nice to know what on earth the boss is, so that I don't spend 20 rounds trying to kill the villager and/or the cart, only to realise (after looking at other comments) that he probably isn't a boss at all (mainly due to the fact that knocking him over with the wolf doesn't count as killing a boss) and so probably he only needs to be dodged.
- It would be nice to have some sort of checkpoint system. I don't mind games that need grinding, but grinding that doesn't advance you at all, even a little bit, is just annoying. This is especially true when the boss is so difficult to get to and there is no tutorial to help you know what to do. This ties in with the previous point. I can spend rounds learning what I have to do, but not when The only thing I get from those rounds is having found the answer.
- As many people have mentioned, there is a bug with the music, which returns after being muted if you go into the shop, and has to be turned on and off again to be re-muted.

Should be called "Bugs, Bugs, Bugs."
Simply enough: Your points are supposed to be cumulative, and they aren't.
Also, your music (which isn't that great) which you want to have muted keeps turning itself back on.
Please fix the basic bugs and try again, and you might have a decent game.

Seems to hurt my eyes playing it, so haven't played it for very long as a result.

Bug of going into shop and the music becoming unmuted, have to click to enable sound before being able to mute it again.

There should be some warning or such when the upgrades time is running out, I know there's the thing in the top right with the countdown bar, but when I'm trying to concentrate on not tripping over, I'm really not paying attention to that at all (I gotta figure it's the same for others), if the figure flashes or something as a warning? I'm referring primarily to the lycan upgrade, the others don't really cause an issue when they expire.

As others have said, because of it all going back to the start each time, it feels like no progress is being made at all.
