Reviews for "Galaxy Siege"

When a bullet's target dies, the bullets disappear. This makes the game ridiculously hard in later levels where there are dozens of enemies at a time and all of my guns want to target the same thing.

I've managed to make it to the boss of the last zone, but I'm convinced it's impossible to beat without an incredible streak of luck.

While the randomization factor is pretty cool, and the upgrading and presentation are excellent, the game, especially at the end, seems like it needs some polish. First off, stars need to be changed to be less frequent, because I was getting too many stars when I needed raw materials. Second, it would be nice if the collectors could be programmed to go fetch specific items. Many an attempt failed because my harvesters went after resources I didn't need instead of repairs and fuel that I did. Furthermore, the enemy AI has a nasty tendency to bunch up at the bottom of the screen right behind your ship, and in the later levels, this becomes the bane of your existence. Finally, the LV3 upgrades come a bit too early, and when you reach the final galaxy, there are no LV4 upgrades that cost the ridiculous amount of resources you will be gaining in the final galaxy. Overall, the endgame needs some work, as it is quite difficult in its current state.

This is an ok game, but outside of sort of piloting and kind of upgrading your ship which is essentially a slow moving barge auto piloted through space and hopefully having enough juice and fire power to take down an enemy with as much, or even less manoeuvrability. Gets a little wearing. You're flying a rectangle bristling with mostly unfair advantages into a bunch of enemies, who only by sheer numbers can hope to overwhelm you as you drift head on into their mostly unavoidable fire.
It's still playable, just kind of dull.

Designing your ship is cool at first, but the novelty quickly wears off when you realize there's not really much you can do with the customization. You just slowly add the parts as needed. Where you put it hardly matters. You can't really specialize in one thing or the other, you need to get a balance of all parts.

The game is easy, its just a grind. Literally you can just let the ship fly by itself you don't need to control anything.

Good concept but end result is kinda boring. Even the music and sound effects are lacking.

Last level was a sudden switch from "buy all you can afford" to "put the way-too-few items in exactly the right spot"

This isn't a good platform for a puzzle game.
