Reviews for "Host Master Deux"

This seems like a very good game from what little I've gotten to play of it, unfortunately it just completely crashes within a minute every time I try to play it. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but it is extremely irritating.

Very cool and in the wake of LucasArts being shut down the weird randomness of this game reminds me of Monkey Island- great work. :)

The game lags. There really should be a checkpoint after convincing the bouncer so that we don't have to do the at-first-interesting-but-eventually-b oring actions. And I've had the game bug into unplayability several times at the washing machine when I'm trying to skip through the dialogue (it seems like for some reason I'm magically conversing with the bouncer across the map, since on all occasions where it did work he spat out a random line from his conversation with him). The art-style is nice, and the animations are kind of funny, but by the third attempt (read: second attempt at getting my second ending) I was getting seriously frustrated by the pauses in the animations and random speech things he did when entering basically every room in the house. The challenges aren't particularly difficult, and once you get them down pat you can do them pretty quickly, but that doesn't mean that they don't get tedious after a while. (Yes, I'm repeating myself here, but I wanted to explain why I felt the checkpoint would be nice).
It was fun the first time I played through, and I understand that this was made in two and a half weeks, but really, if you're going to make a game, make sure everything's good in the base game before you start adding extra endings.

lags somehow
