Reviews for "The Journey to heaven?"

Rather disappointed with the incompleteness of this game. At least add "demo" or "preview" before posting then explain your situation I feel rather robbed...... as for the game itself, I was happy with the simplistic graphics and how smoothly things worked (other than the door movement) however I do question just how complex you can make further levels with that small of a space. Remember, challenging... not time consuming.

Thanks for the comment. I added "Demo" to the short description. Yes I agree it needs to be challenging for the player I'm hoping to win a copy of the software to continue. I have a few ideas. This includes more buttons and more doors and enemies and some puzzles that need to be done to open doors and the portal to next level. Can you explain the issues with the door movement? Thanks man I enjoy hearing feedback.

this game got potencial!!
keep working on it!

Thanks, I enjoy reading comments like this.

Controls were nonintuitive with no text to explain anything (why double click?) and sometimes unresponsive. I tried single and double, and double seemed to be what worked, so I'm just guessing here. Dragging the doors took me a while to understand as well.

After the conundrum with controls, puzzles were easy and boring - nothing seemed to be themed towards the afterlife, artistic, or emotionally involving. Your sound effects are good, but you're desperately in need of a spriter or other artist.

Even a vaguely human shaped character would help with immersion, and having more puzzle elements would enhance your game. Finally, the game almost plays like a platformer, except relegated to point-and-click controls, which during the entire process felt awkward.

Potential is there. Keep improving.

the lack of text in the levels was annoying so it would be better if someone spoke to you or there was louder/faster music playing otherwise it gets too dull, i also think it would be better with actual art and player models instead of basic shape (like the guy look like a guy and not a rectangle) and i was a bit taken to surprise when i realized it was a point and click, just seemed unnatural to me. music was good though.

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. The contest was meant to be touch so it worked on PC and mobile phones. Thanks for the feedback.

i've seen more emotion in a bowl of cereal
