@zortharg : the saiyans enslaved other alien races to make their technology for them so they actually have no clue what the hell is going on other than basic operating procedures. If I had to bet on it I'd wager that Vegeta couldn't fix himself a ham sandwich let alone something complicated like a spaceship.
