I've already seen something VERY similar to this just with soldiers (and it wasn't Cannon Fodder :-D) not so long ago.

Excellent!The only thing I can criticize is that when there´s a lot of enemies in the screen the game turns a bit slower,beside that the game plays great.

Just alright, a bit too awkward for me perhaps, a side-scroller is better.
