The game was fresh and fun for the first half hour, but then things felt tedious and pointless. By rank 11, I didn't care to play anymore. Everything felt the same, while some matches were completely easy. Only reason to progress is to get better equipment for survival modes, but the game didn't make me care enough to beat them. In the end it suffers the same curse as all games of its type. I cringe at playing this again because all the awaits me here is boredom.
It needs to make progression worth while. To make you do something else after you reach a certain level rather than just be rewarding. Maps needs more levels and platforms. Part of the reason for its tediousness is because I can just spray down a direction and hit someone without the enemy coming into view. What these kind of games won't be able to shake off is the game modes being repetitive. That's pretty much the biggest downfall, here.
I've been more of a fan of campaign, story line shooters because they have levels that makes me do something different, while being a fun shooter at the same time. After Intruder Combat Training and other games like it, I don't have much enthusiasm for these kinds of games at the moment.
