I'm giving you a high rating because I see a lot of potential and I realize this is just a prototype. Also, I've played your other games and you put together some fun stuff, so I think this will be great. What I don't like: The restrictiveness of the layout. Make the rooms bigger and less restricted. I love the darkness around our hero, but wouldn't it be better if the layout was open, making it unknown what was lurking in those shadows? Also, the battles were no good. I hate just clicking on a button to have my hero brainlessly smash something till it's dead. Can we have a few choices or even switch to a battle screen (ala Final Fantasy)? What I liked far outweighs that though. I love the animation. The creepiness of the wraiths and the death scream were awesome. The mood of the dungeon, just the right amount of creepy and the soundtrack of wind blown corridors was great. With not quite there music (if that's what you can call it), it left me feeling unbalanced all the way till the end. I would love to spend a few hours playing this. Ideas to make it better: PLEASE keep gameplay convenient where I can use the arrows or WASD or the mouse to move. And spacebar for attacking is always nice! Maybe a few puzzles like Zelda would be fun. I think this will be another favorite of mine. :) Good job on the prototype. Looking forward to it.

Thanks for the lengthy review. Its much appreciated. Im glad you enjoyed the atmosphere! Based on the comments I think this is something we will focus on during development so the correct emotions will be pulled from the players at the right times.

In the final game areas will be pretty open and there will be exploration. Im also a huge zelda fan so I couldnt imagine us going forward without drawing some inspiration on the puzzle side of things. Brainless smashing is something I want to avoid as well so me and my partner will discuss things and see what important for us while continuing development.

It's a really nice prototype, I would advise to have more options at the time of fighint, for example, defence with the shield or maybe a capacity to change the weapon. I loved the girl-monsters, they are quite creepy and the first time I saw one of those I actually got a but scared, so one can easly fall in the ambient with the graphics and characters you guys have used. That would be my advise moslty (: Keep it up! I'm anxious to see the full game.

Thanks for the feedback. That's something I actually really wanted (a creepy atmosphere) and wasnt sure I had achieved it. So its nice to see someone saw that. Im not sure if the entire game will carry that vibe but its certainly possible.

Weapons being changed is something that is certainly planned and we have talked about the ability to defend instead of only attacking. We will do it if can be done in a natural manner.

need loader at begining, because low connection show black page... the "exit" to another map should have some kind of mark.. when surrounded by 2 ghost on left and right they will fallow my that way up and down preventing me to skip them. Making them 1 my move 1 they make it mayby 2:1 ?:P

good game despite me thinking that it would be better if its one of those find objects game which are returned to their places to find whatever your main goal is although the fighting is easy enough, just walk into the ghosts and u fight :)
hope you can manage to make it more interesting :D

the game was ok. hope you can make the game even better than the prototype.
