This reminds me of a puzzle. But seriously, as a Layton fan this made me laugh my ass off.

All in all, the pieces of this puzzle fit together quite well. The animation was top notch. The voice acting was absolutely superb in comparison to the actual Professor Layton games. I would love to this extended out into a mini-series compared to just a random short.
I really liked the animation and art, but didn't care so much for the actual short.
