I can tell you were attempting to go for the morbid sense of humor here, and if that was what you were shooting for, it comes through. However, I'd HIGHLY recommend adding some sound effects (maybe the shark going 'om nom nom tastes like looser' or something akin to that) and have the music much less prominent.
The way you have it now, the deaths are mildly funny, but there isn't really anything that causes them to stand out the way that you would expect and hope for in a game based on repetition like this one.
Still, it was a fun time killer, though I was never able to beat 160 points :/
It's an interesting idea, and it's not executed half bad. However I quickly found out that simply avoiding dead ends would allow me to continue living. Also it would been a lot more feasible as a 3-5 star if there had been more than one map.
The only way to win is to die...
