A nice game, something relaxing. Though it was I found it a bit short, maybe add a level creator or make more levels in the future?

josh-tamugaia responds:

Good ideas

This game is far too confusing. I couldn't really wrap my mind around the concept, and I tried playing anyways and got stuck at level 3. The tutorial was very poorly constructed, and even when I was trying my best to get as much information from the tutorial as possible I still didn't understand it, and even some of the things didn't make sense when I tried applying them to the game itself. For example, in level 3, no matter the squares are in, the white square never changes. Why wasn't something like this mentioned in the tutorial?

So essentially, this game left me no choice but to just randomly match smaller tiles with the bigger ones and hope that one of the combinations worked. For such a complex game, I would really make sure you add a REALLY good tutorial so that the player can't anyone or anything but themselves. Get the player to learn while playing, rather than read a tutorial and have to learn all at once. The graphics were O.K, and the music was a little annoying as well.

The design is really pure and eye candy.
The game design however is really low.

My rating won't be very meaningfull. The art design deserve a 5: the menu is flawless, the game is responsive, the game has an atmosphere, the music is above average, etc.

But the game in itself is not very interesting. Actually, let me rephrase this : for someone older than 15, this game is plain boring. But I suppose it would make for a cool math exercise for younger people. Provided you say them it's either this or solving equations.
So... 1 for a puzzle game. 4 for a math exercise.

Overall, impossible for me to rate.

josh-tamugaia responds:

Yes, this kind of game does not appeal to everyone. Especially those who like action, blood, explosions... but it does capture the attention of some people. Math exercise? Please refer to description Notes #3

First of all, why did you make it colors and not numbers? I have to keep flipping back and forth to see which numbers they are. Not to mention that it took me several minutes to figure out HOW the numbers changed each other. And secondly, it's not a very intuitive type of puzzle. You really just go on and on trying different combinations until you hit upon the right one.

josh-tamugaia responds:

Numbers = math = unpopular.
You don't have to use the guide to solve the puzzle... I think I should have deleted the damn guide.
Yes, you go on trying combinations, but the unique part is how you try the combinations. If you randomly drag the squares, you'd be quite frustrated. If you narrow down and try to match the tiles one by one, the game would be more enjoyable. There are even some occasions during my own testing when I stumbled upon combinations different from the original solution that could solve the puzzle.

But then again, I do realize that the game is not for everyone. Hence the Warning that I put in the description.

Nonetheless, I thank you for your valuable input.

just finished it i only finished it beacause i dont like leaving games uncompleted but in my opinion it was not the most fun ive had
