There's a problem with this.

Unlike most of my reviews, I'm not gonna talk about the game as a whole. Instead, I'm going to bring up this: This is a prototype, correct?

Instead of finishing the game and uploading it, you release...a prototype and have us play it...why? The game's obviously unfinished. Hitboxes are weird, you can't fire in more than one direction, the model glitches out, there's no story or context to anything, and it lasts less than a minute.

Generally, you should keep your testing to you, and people you trust. Not upload it to Newgrounds and be like, "YUP THIS IS A GAME GUYS."

Pretty nice, Platformer.
Still has hidden things to be pointed out.

1. There has to be a Game Over sign. Ex: "You died, and the whole world is destroyed. Would you like to try again?"
2. Please.. The icons in the upper left corner? Make it more like what he uses. What makes him work.
3. The beams should not pass the things. It should explode in a bit of a tiny radius.
4. SOUND. Every game I see has audio, and soundtrack. When those bugs get hit, they make a sound so bug-like. Or the boss soaks out purple juice kinda thing.
5. Make it more jungle-like please, it'll make it more fictional.
6. The character needs a bit of programming. Technically, flashing lights on his stomach, or something like that. Other than that, the character looks great when I looked at it a bit.
7. The gun. Make reload or something. I dunno, add upgrades to your sequel.
8. Bit longer, please?
9. Editing.
10. A little bit more art on the title screen.
