Of course, nothing's perfect and that's why I will never give a perfect rating, but I did get the retro feel I was looking for. Satisfactory.

Nice programming and fluidity/physics...I like the choice of weapons, but I don't like the lack of control choice (too used to wasd). Not really that "tacticky", just spraying with my ten thousand sps rifle with infinite ammo. The hostage didn't really help to counter this...just makes it more annoying when I kill them and have to restart. All the gear are pretty much useless (except for the grapple)...seriously a nade that blows a hole through the floor? No, it doesn't "add an extra level of strategy", in fact, I spent the entire time spraying and throwing things randomly, while moving up the map...no strategy what-so-ever. Also not the most original...
