Fantastic.
This makes med want to play SotC...why? I don't know. But it's still awesome.
It was super sad but that's because it was so brilliant. Perfect use of simplistic art and awesome music to evoke many different emotions in the viewer.
I can see why you got rewarded. This has a lingering feeling of folk-tale and mystisism that binds you from the verry first moment you see it. The skillfull play with lighting and sounds ads an extra dimension to put the story up front. Is this based on some other story or have you made the script as well? To bad about the sad ending, however, there are enough of sugarcoated rainbowstories out there allready with everybody happy in the end. Life is not like that. And for once, the light got to play the badguy. Great film!
