This game is actually pretty awesome.
The gameplay is good, it's not overly complicated, in fact it could stand to be moreso, with more upgrades and features, but overall it's really well done.
I love this game. Visually it is good, the music is excellent. However I would love to see a new revamped version, my reasons are,
1: It is far too easy, the other families are not very aggressive, and given a bit of patience you can max out your reputations.
2: I feel like their ought to be an added level of complexity, perhaps more associated criminal actions, a greater breakdown of manpower (such as having to assign men to security, racketeering etc). Perhaps involvement in local elections I am not sure. Just another added level.
3: Though the music is excellent some of those little sound bytes that crop up, though excellent are repetitive, that is a minor quibble.
4: The ability to transfer liquor between areas would be good. Or if that was replaced entirely by a centralised 'bank'.
5: It seems to me that a family should a HQ district and/or something that prevents the slighly unrealistic and annoying phenomana of entirely wiping out an enemy in one swoop, only for them to smuggle a district out from under you so to speak.
But overall excellent.
its a funny gangsters game. i like the concept and its hard stuff good work!! in the future i will create a game like this
