It is true Dandelions used to be commonly used as an ingredient in countless recipes.
Sadly, that thing has come to end in the modern age. Fertilizers and pesticides make Dandelions highly toxic, and because most people don't grow or gather their own food anymore, it is more common people don't consider this.
Humorously, I can understand why the coyote fellow didn't pick all the 'weeds'. That some 'weeds' actually tend to serve a purpose is a good reason to keep them.
My favorite part was at 0:24 where he gets up with the scarecrow's chest impaled. "FINE!" came in a close second, heh.
