Reviews for "Anodyne Demo"

Love it. The fact that you would choose a broom as the protagonists weapon and use dust to block lasers shows some creativity and leaves me intrigued. Oh how gaming janitors must be rejoicing. How evil of you to just stop it without any closure and tease us >:D Not complaining though, it worked. I'll happily pick this up for such a modest price just to see what happens next. Thanks for scratching my nostalgic itch ^_^

Well, shit. Guess I need to scrounge up some munnies, huh?

there's a point in the demo where when i die in the river, i spawn in a wall and i have to die from bats in another room next to it while still in the wall, haven't gotten too far yet but it's great so far

Seagaia responds:

Yeah, that's a known issue - I'm working on fixing it for a later patch.

is there a way to play the full game without buying it?

Seagaia responds:

you could pirate it (I don't know if it's up on any trackers yet though)

i usually do running reviews where i list all the issues in a game one by one and then the author has a (usually complete) list of all the problems/issues/design flaws. then when the author takes my advice verbatim, their game becomes immensely successful.

but it seems like you did nearly everything right here. just one minor hiccup i noticed so far.

when you step on a checkpoint and hit 'c' it says "saving..." but never gives any feedback to let you know that your progress is saved. this is somewhat awkward and clunky. one is left to assume. but some might assume that it doesn't say "saved" because it didn't properly save due to some browser/flash setting.

Seagaia responds:

have you made a game before?
