Reviews for "Virtua Snake"

It is a well polished game and I like the badges that give a sense of accomplishment. I have a couple suggestions, one being to add a magnet upgrade or a tiny pull of an item when one gets near the points, shields, and gun upgrades (at least points and shields.) The mobs like to surround them and one has to kamikaze to get to them. Also, that may have been what you were going for to add some challenge. If that is the case - job well done. It is fun and loaded fast on DSL connection but it does slow down like you said with lots of mobs. My computer is faster than the old laptop you tested on as well. One last thing - maybe you can change the color of the snake's shielded tail if you make a sequel? A slightly different hue would be nice because (and it could just be me) I was having trouble distinguishing the mobs from my tail. Still a fun little game. Think people will enjoy it - especially with the cool score board that doesn't make you register with another website to submit scores.

Nice suggestions! If everything goes well, I will implement them i the next game: Virtua Snake 2. Thanks

At first, I thought I could understand the controls because it was just a game of Snake. It turned out to be a lot more complicated than that. With that being said, I still thoroughly enjoyed this! I think my favorite part was probably how you could get a bulbous body and kill enemies with that. There were also a decent variety of enemies. The graphics weren't bad either.

The sound effects were also nice and they seemed to get you hyped up well. I appreciate you putting a spin on a classic game. At the same time, you didn't derail its original premise. It's weird to play a game where you can hit enemies and not get hurt. Even the "virtua' part is cool in the title.

Glad you like it!

Been a long time I played the traditional Snake game, so I was almost a bit disappointed to find out this didn't abide by the classic game style but was actually something entirely new though. As it turns out, it was a pretty good concept, a combination between Snake & Asteroid in the way you navigate and shoot, simple and entertaining, and with a high-tech futuristic style of graphics. Nice work!

Not really my type of game, but I this was a lot of fun.
Lot of enemies.
Fluid movement and targeting.
I liked it it.

P.S. The "Anakonda" medal does not seem to be working.

The fun of snake

This is actually one of the better snake games out there very challanging and with all the medals very nice indeed So snake games come and go but you seem to have given this version of the classic some new and fresh life with some nice visuals and fun gameplay even as old and a classic as it is I still find these snake games pretty fun and still entertaining, a challanging snake game right here
